Position Overview
Hannesson Home is looking for a Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, selling, and managing kitchen and bath projects from the first client conversation through final installation.
The ideal candidate is creative, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working directly with homeowners, builders, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal team members. This position also requires a proactive approach to building client relationships through showroom walk-ins, referrals, networking, prospecting, and follow-up communication.
What You’ll DO
As a Kitchen & Bath Designer, you will:
Guide clients through the kitchen and bath design process from consultation to completion
Build and maintain your own book of business through walk-ins, referrals, networking, and outreach
Meet with clients in the showroom and on job sites for consultations, measurements, and field verification
Draft and design kitchens, bathrooms, and other spaces using 2020 Design software
Help clients select cabinetry, countertops, hardware, finishes, and other materials
Review floor plans, appliance specs, plumbing details, and construction requirements
Prepare estimates for cabinetry, countertops, hardware, labor, and related project needs
Order, track, and adjust cabinetry and hardware materials
Coordinate installation packets, deliveries, and installation scheduling
Maintain accurate project details, timelines, tasks, and statuses in ClickUp
Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members
Stay informed on cabinetry, countertop, appliance, molding, millwork, and industry trends
Help maintain an organized, welcoming showroom environment
What We’re Looking For
The right candidate will have:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Experience in kitchen, bath, interior design, cabinetry, or a related field
Proficiency in 2020 Design software
Strong attention to detail and organization
The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
A proactive, self-motivated approach to sales and client relationships
Professionalism, dependability, and a team-first mindset
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Four-year degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of related kitchen, bath, interior design, cabinetry, or design sales experience
